1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the coldblaze.lat website and the purchase of the cold weather electronics, heated apparel and related services offered through it. By reading a page, sending an enquiry, requesting a sample or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms, together with the separate Privacy Policy that explains how your personal information is handled.
If you are acting for a business, a partnership or any other organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these terms, and references in this document to you then include that organisation. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website or enter into a transaction with us, and instead contact us if you would like to discuss an arrangement that works for both sides.
We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the law or in the way we trade. When we do, we revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms, so we recommend you glance at the date when you revisit.
2. Who we are
The company that provides the ColdBlaze range and runs the coldblaze.lat website is Liuyang Saihan Electronic Trading Co., Ltd., a company established under the laws that apply in China, with its registered office and operation base at No. 102 Duanxin Group, Juxiang Village, Yonghe Town, Liuyang, in the city of Changsha, postcode 410000, China (CN). The trading contact is Liu Yingxue, reachable by email at link@coldblaze.lat or by telephone at +17755210821.
The word ColdBlaze is the brand under which these trading services are offered, and the developer named in our public materials is ColdBlaze. Where these terms say we, us, our or the company they mean the firm named above, and where they say ColdBlaze they can be read as the same entity acting under its trading identity.
Cold weather electronics is a specialist field, and a responsible trading partner should always be traceable. If you ever need to know precisely who you are dealing with, the information in this section is the answer, and it will not change without this page being updated.
3. Use of the website
We grant you a personal, non exclusive, revocable right to view and use coldblaze.lat for the purpose of learning about our products and communicating with us about them. You agree not to misuse the site and not to do anything that could damage, overload or interfere with its operation for other visitors.
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its servers or the systems connected to it, and you must not use automated tools in a way that places an unreasonable load on the service. Scraping our product descriptions, copying our text wholesale or reusing our brand assets to mislead another buyer is not permitted.
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be free from errors, interruptions or downtime caused by events beyond our reasonable control. Where a page contains a genuine mistake in price or specification, we reserve the right to correct it and to inform you before an order is confirmed on mistaken terms.
4. Products and cold rated claims
The products shown on coldblaze.lat are working cold weather electronics, and every page that mentions a temperature sets out an intended operating window rather than a promise that applies to every configuration of every product. Ratings such as a fired heater zone or a battery endurance figure are stated for conditions we describe at the time, and the exact figure that applies to your item is confirmed in the specification we send you before an order.
A cold rated claim is only meaningful when the whole system is matched, including the heater, the battery, the controller and the material around it. We always confirm the operating window, the test record and the safe charging guidance for the exact unit you buy, and we encourage you to share your real end use so the claim we give you matches the cold you will actually face.
No product on this site is intended for use in a safety critical application where failure could cause serious injury, unless we have agreed in writing that a specific item and configuration meets the required standard for that application. If your intended use is at the edge of what any heated gear can deliver, tell us early rather than assuming a general rating covers your case.
5. Quotations and pricing
All prices, quotations and provided figures on coldblaze.lat are stated in the currency shown on the proposal and are given in good faith at the time they are issued. A quotation is our invitation to you to place an order on the terms stated, and it is not a binding offer until we accept your subsequent order in writing.
Unless a quotation states otherwise, a quoted price is validity limited to the period written on the quotation, because the cost of cells, fabrics and freight moves with the market. Where the value of batteries, shipping or currency changes materially between the date of a quotation and the date we accept an order, we will tell you before we confirm rather than silently changing the price on you.
Prices shown on the website are indicative unless a specific written proposal says the price is fixed. Trade quantities, cold rated configurations and bespoke packaging carry their own pricing, and the number we confirm in writing is the number that governs any order, not a website figure.
6. Orders and acceptance
An order begins when you send us a clear statement of the product, the quantity, the configuration and the delivery country you need. We then review the request, confirm the technical specification, the cold rated claim, the price, the lead time and the shipping arrangement, and we accept the order only when we send you a written confirmation of those agreed terms.
Until we send that written confirmation there is no binding contract, and either side may step away without penalty by telling the other that it withdraws the request or the offer. If details in your order do not match the specification we quoted, the written confirmation takes precedence and we will draw the difference to your attention as soon as we notice it.
We may decline an order for legitimate reasons, including where a product cannot meet the cold rated claim you need, where a configuration is not something our factories can produce safely, or where shipping to a destination is not one we can support reliably. In each case we will say why so you can decide whether a different product or route works instead.
7. Samples and prototypes
Almost every serious cold season purchase should start with a physical sample, because a temperature rating on paper tells only part of the story. We provide samples on terms agreed in each proposal, which commonly include a sample fee and a delivery cost, sometimes offset against a later production order at the rate shown on the quotation.
A sample is a working unit sent so you can inspect the build, feel the heat spread and test it in your own cold environment. Even when a sample is offered free of charge, the cost of producing and shipping that unit is still incurred by us, so we ask that samples be requested with genuine intent to evaluate and, if suitable, to order.
Custom prototypes are different from catalogue samples and carry their own engineering, tooling and development charges agreed before work starts. If your business depends on a unique cold rated design, we treat your specification as confidential and we never reuse a design you have commissioned for another customer without your written agreement.
8. Payment terms
Payment terms are confirmed in the written proposal that accompanies each order. In the cold electronics trade from China, standard terms are generally an agreed deposit before production begins and the balance before dispatch, though the precise split, the method and the timing are always set out in writing so there is no ambiguity.
We accept payment through the channels named on each proposal, which typically include international bank transfer and, for suitable customers, confirmed letter of credit. We never ask you to send cash, and we never direct payment to an account that differs from the one printed on your written proposal, so if you ever receive a payment instruction that looks changed, stop and email link@coldblaze.lat before sending a single amount.
If a payment is late or fails, we are entitled to hold production and dispatch until the account is settled, and to tell you that we are doing so. Interest or late fees are not added unless the specific proposal says so, because we prefer to resolve a payment problem with a conversation rather than a penalty.
9. Shipping, export and customs
For every order we agree the trade term, such as the ownership and risk point, the shipping method, the destination port or address and the expected transit window. Cold rated electronics are dense, valuable goods, and we package them to survive handling, but we recommend insurance for high value shipments and we can arrange it where you ask us to before the goods move.
We are responsible for the export formalities of China in the ordinary course, and you are responsible for import formalities, duties, taxes and local compliance in the destination country, unless a written proposal says otherwise. Cold weather products such as lithium battery packs carry transport restrictions, and we will not ship a configuration that fails the rules of the airlines, ocean carriers or security agents that must carry it.
Quoted lead and transit times are estimates made in good faith. Events beyond our control, including weather, port congestion, customs holds and carrier problems, can delay a shipment, and while we will act diligently to avoid and shorten such delays, we do not accept liability for losses caused by events we cannot reasonably prevent.
10. Inspection and acceptance
Goods such as these are shipped after an inspection step that is agreed for each order. Depending on the product and the customer need, this may be a production checkpoint in the factory, a pre ship sample review against an approved master or a third party inspection booked at your request and cost before dispatch.
Unless a proposal says otherwise, risk in the goods passes to you at the point stated by the trade term we agree, and from that moment any loss or damage during transit is a matter for the carrier and any insurance we have arranged. On arrival you should check the goods promptly against the packing list, because most shipping claims have a strict deadline imposed by the carrier.
If you find a real discrepancy between what was agreed and what arrived, tell us within a reasonable time of discovery and keep the packaging and evidence intact. We will work through the cause honestly, because a brand that depends on selling to winter markets cannot afford to hide behind delays when a shipment problem surfaces.
11. Warranty and returns
We warrant that products we supply will meet the specification we confirm in writing at the time of order, under the cold rated conditions we describe, when they are used and charged in line with the guidance we provide. This warranty runs from delivery for the period stated in the proposal, and we will repair or replace, at our option, any unit that fails to meet the agreed specification within that warranty window.
Because cold weather electronics fail most often through charging errors or through a mismatched battery, we ask that any claimed failure first be reviewed against the operating and charging instructions. That is not an excuse to avoid responsibility; it is simply the fastest way to find out whether the fault is in the unit or in a wrong cable that a replacement would not solve.
Return authorisation is required before any goods come back to us, and returns that are approved are handled on the terms in the proposal, which usually assign the return freight and import handling according to who is responsible for the fault. We do not accept returns for a change of mind on custom or configured product, because such goods are built to your specification.
12. Limits of liability
Nothing in these terms limits the liability of either side where the law does not allow it to be limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Within that boundary we set out a fair and comprehensible limit on the rest.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of an order or the use of the website will not exceed the amount you paid for the particular product or product line that gives rise to the claim. We also exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost sales, lost data or the cost of a customer you lost because a shipment was late, unless a written proposal expressly accepts that risk for a fee.
You agree that no industrial product intended for normal trade should sit at the very edge of its rating without that being flagged and accepted in writing. Where you ask us to push a product beyond its stated operating window or into a safety critical role, we will tell you plainly what that means before we accept, so neither of us discovers the risk only after a failure.
13. Intellectual property
All text, images, drawings, product descriptions and other content on coldblaze.lat, together with the ColdBlaze name and the look of the site, are owned by Liuyang Saihan Electronic Trading Co., Ltd. or are used with the permission of the rights holder. Nothing on the site gives you a right to use that content or those marks beyond the ordinary personal viewing described in these terms.
Where you supply your own artwork, a logo, a branded design or a specification for custom product, you confirm that you own it or hold the right to use it for the purpose of the order, and you grant us a limited right to use it solely to produce and package the goods you have ordered. We will not use your confidential brand assets for the benefit of any other customer.
If you believe any content on the site infringes a right you or your client hold, tell us with enough detail for us to investigate, and we will act promptly on a well founded claim, because the last thing a trading firm wants is to ship goods built on an idea that belongs to someone else who holds the protection.
14. Confidential information
Both sides may share confidential information during an enquiry or an order, including technical drawings, pricing, customer names and commercial margins. Each side agrees to keep the confidential information of the other side private, to use it only for the purpose of the relationship, and to disclose it only to the people who genuinely need it to perform that purpose.
This obligation does not apply to information that is already public, that becomes public without the fault of the receiving side, that was lawfully known before it was shared, or that must be disclosed by law. Where disclosure is required by law, the receiving side will tell the disclosing side in advance wherever it is lawful to do so.
Confidential obligations continue after an order is complete or abandoned, because the value in a technical specification outlives any single shipment. If we ever ask you to keep a design quiet, and you ask the same of us, both promises deserve and get the same degree of care.
15. General and governing law
These terms set out the whole agreement between you and us for the purchase of product and the use of the site, and they replace any earlier discussions about the same matter to the extent the earlier discussion is inconsistent. If any part of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of the terms continue to apply with the invalid part treated as removed.
We each may enforce these terms only as written, and a delay in enforcing a term is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer or assign your rights or obligations under an order without our written consent, while we may transfer the benefit of an order as part of the business operations described in our Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of China, and the courts of Changsha have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without limiting the right of either side to bring proceedings in its own territory where the applicable law and rules allow. In practice, most trading questions are resolved by a conversation long before any court is needed, and we would far rather resolve an issue across a desk than across a courtroom.
16. Contacting us
If you have a question about these terms, about a quotation, an order or a shipment, the fastest and clearest route to us is email at link@coldblaze.lat, or a telephone call to +17755210821. Our trading desk operates from No. 102 Duanxin Group, Juxiang Village, Yonghe Town, Liuyang, Changsha - 410000, China (CN).
We answer within our business hours and usually within one working day, however you reach us. And this page has a quiet purpose worth repeating: cold weather electronics work best when both the buyer and the seller talk plainly about what the product must survive. The terms above exist to make that conversation safe, and they succeed every time they keep a good trading relationship warm, honest and un-surprised through another long winter.
